26 Job Positions for the post of Pharmacist are announced by Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC).
BPSC is the same as PPSC which is Punjab Public Service Commission and it is the fact that most of the people are not aware of the PPSC and BPSC.
Basically these are the provincial bodies which hire different professionals for different institutions of the government.
This body usually conducts a written test and applicants are shortlisted by this test.
Large number of candidates participate in the test but only those are shortlisted for interviews which pass the test.
After passing the test a second phase of interview is conducted where more candidates are screened.
It is a common observation that for one seat usually 4 or 5 candidates are shortlisted.
The final list of candidates is prepared after the interview phase where only those candidates are selected which get the highest aggregate in writing and oral test or interview.
The selected candidate may be appointed to Hospitals to work as a hospital Pharmacist or can also be appointed as a drug inspector.
One important point to keep in mind is that the appointment of a candidate may be first done in a specific department and can be rotated to other departments as or when required.
